Been a while since we’ve done anything…

Hey everyone, I just wanted you all to know that we are still very much a band.  Ross and I have been talking a lot about our future, and we are very excited about this new album we have been working on for over a year now.  As many of you have grown to love our first EP Happy Hour, we hope not to disappoint you with our new sound.  For those of you that saw us this summer, you might know what I’m talking about. 

What you guys might not realize is that when we started, we had NO IDEA what we were doing.  Through meeting a lot of you, and playing a bunch of shows in places big and small all over the midwest, our sound started taking shape and we have been working very hard at honing in a sound that we are VERY proud of. 

As some of you may know, Ross does the vast majority of our production, and it is insane at how much he has grown since we started.  He impresses me more and more with each song, and I have been privileged to get the opportunity to work with him over the last 2 years.  Although this new record strays away from our initial acoustic roots, we are getting back into more of the sound we knew before you knew us.   All through middle school, and high school we always played music that was more on the heavy side.  Including a couple of screamo, and hardcore bands over the years (both separate of each other).  This is not to say that our future records won’t dive back into more acoustic driven stuff.  We like to keep mixing things up, to keep us on our toes, and keep you on yours.

We are still finalizing all of our plans as far as releases go.  But I can tell you that there will be a song released for streaming only sometime in the near near near future.
